looking for the ideal candidate to have a bachelor's degree or
equivalent, with a minimum of four to five years' experience in a
merchandising or supply chain role, preferably in luxury goods
industry. The candidate should demonstrate excellent
organizational, communication, and computer skills, particularly in
Microsoft Excel. The candidate should have solid analytical skills
and strong aptitude to work with figures. Excellent interpersonal
skills with a service-oriented attitude are essential. Previous
experience with luxury consumer products is desired. Previous
knowledge of SAP is a plus.What are we expecting from you?Reporting
to the Senior Manager, Merchandising Operations, you will act as
the primary contact for regional boutique and e-commerce teams,
managing the demands of the network related to the inventory of
jewelry, watches, and accessories. The position is based in our New
York office.In this role, you will be responsible for the
following:
- Key contact for inquiries of assigned region, related to the
inventory & sold order management of jewelry, watches, accessories,
and all sales-necessary materials.
- Manages the inventory flow of jewelry & watches across the
channels with a focus on regular stock rebalancing on assigned
categories to optimize inventory throughout the network.
- Responsible for analyzing & distributing monthly boutique stock
reporting. Identifying trends & opportunities and taking any
necessary action.
- Manages the flow of all back-to-back orders and product
launches for jewelry and timepieces within region.
- Manages stock for new boutique openings within region, ensuring
clear communication on status with all cross functional and
warehouse teams.
- Builds & develops strong relationships with boutique
management, via regular touch bases to discuss stock opportunities
& boutique needs.
- Ensures proper merchandising procedures & guidelines are
followed at the boutiques, with the ability to provide guidance and
clarity if needed.
- Supports overall merchandising strategies and initiatives, ad
hoc projects as necessary.More than a role---we recruit for a
